A Typical Camp Day

Here is what you can expect on a typical day at camp

With many different camps happening each session for campers aged 5-16, we have so much going on that it's hard to describe exactly what each camper's schedule will look like. All of our classes engage in a rigorous curriculum filled with exciting activities, fun individual and group games, free time, outdoor play, special surprise events, and all of this is on top of their class-specific activities.

Below is what a typical camp day might look like for one of our week-long campers:
(Remember this is only an example and schedules will look different for Young Company and Pre-School campers.)

8:00 - 9:00 am - Camp Check-In
We begin welcoming campers from 8 am. Hang out with new friends in this self-directed free time as we wait for camp to start. Right before 9 am we'll get into our class groups and play get-to-know-you games, or do a big story session with the whole camp as we wait for everyone to arrive.

9:00 - 10:30 am - Class Time
It’s time to go to class and start work! During class time we do workshops, play games, develop our performance pieces, and participate in fun activities.

10:30 - 11:00 am - Morning Snack
Classes will have time to eat a snack, visit the camp store, and hang out with other classes during this morning break. When the weather is nice we love to spend time outside!

11:00 - 12:00 pm - Fun Time
Every day each class gets to participate in an hour-long Fun Time class, filled with big group games and activities.

12:00 - 12:30 pm - Lunch

12:30 - 1:00 pm - Free Time
Watch movies, play indoor games, go outside, or start working on an act for our Friday Variety Show.

1:00 - 2:30 pm - Class Time
It’s time to head back to class for more exciting activities, workshops, and performance preparations.

2:30 - 3:00 pm - Afternoon Snack
Classes head back to the main room, where campers will have time to eat a snack, visit the camp store, and hang out with other classes during this morning break.

3:00 - 3:45 pm - Movement Class
Join in for this creative movement-based class, filled with special lessons and activities designed to keep our campers active.

3:45 - 4:15 pm - Camp Check Out
Campers return to their assigned check-out locations ready to be picked up after a fun day at camp.
